History

The Aldiron Hero Group was founded ata the end of the 1960s as a supplier of military equipment to the armed forces and the goverment of the Republic of Indonesia. It played a crucial role in enhancing the national defense and security, making te country a safe home for millions of lives. At the same time, the company took on the chance to provide private housing for the army on duty in the East Timor, one location among others.

In the early 1970s the Aldiron Hero Group branched out as a general contractor by established mini kiosks around the bus terminal of Blok M, which at the time was one of the busiest and most prestigious area of Jakarta. The business subsidiary experienced exponential growth in the commercial sector, and grew into real estate division emented by the establishment of Indonesia’s first modern shopping center in Jakarta, the Aldiron Plaza.

After a string of other successful retail developments, such as the Pasar Karya Cengkareng and Taman Kedoya Indah housing estate, the company then stepped up to be an international property developer with the Landmark Shopping Center and the Valley Professional Center in California, USA, among many others in the global portfolio.

The decision to undertake the accomplishment of all tasks based on excellence and consistent performance has won the company the trust of the government and made expansion possible. Aldiron was chosen to be a forerunner in the National Lottery Business, the only company to have operated the business for more than 10 years.

To bolster a further expansion, the group delved into three lucrative industries: wood, mining and plantation. The Aldiron Hero Wood manages over 1.6 million square feet of rainforest in Jambi, Sumatra, as a renewable resource to yield raw materials for our molding, panels and floorings factory through ethical methods that include seedlings post-harvest. In the western territory of Indonesia, the company owns a 380,000-hectare coal mine in Meulaboh, Aceh

Another division opened up palm oil and chocolate plantations in Jambi, Bengkulu and West Borneo, which sought to cater to the increasing demand from Indonesia and beyond.ln the late 1970’s, given the opportunity to contribute to the nation’s economy, Aldiron expanded to Singapore, Hong Kong, USA, Japan and Europe. The group’s development has led to expansion in several fields: the wood industry, international trade distributing, mining and work in the plantation sector.During the 1980s, the boom of air travel initiated the company to set up an aviation-supply subsidiary in Los Angeles, California. Not only did it procure spare parts and provide services to aircrafts—one of which was the overhaul repair shop for Merpati in Ujung Pandang, in association with Lucas Aerospace—but it also launched the only privately owned air traffic controller school in Indonesia in subsequent years.

2014 saw Aldiron’s most recent accomplishment: the opening of the Air Traffic Control (ATC) / education center, with the aim of improving the quality of human resources as a contribution to the Indonesian aviation industry.

Given Indonesia’s rapid development in the following decades, the property segment rose to become the backbone of the holding company. Aldiron Hero Group, to this very day, maintains a wide network of b usinesses with offices spread across many countries in the world, from Asia to Europe to America.
