Atlantic Place Shopping Center
Atlantic Place Shopping Center is a commercial center in Monterey Park, Los Angeles, California. Established in 1986, the 3-story building occupies a strategic location, next to an intersection of the main roads, Garvey Avenue and North Atlantic Boulevard.
Three years before its construction, the city elected Lily Lee Chen as the mayor, immediately causing an increase in the Asian population within the vicinity. To this very day, the Atlantic Place Shopping Center reflects the infusion of Asian-American cultures from the specialty eateries occupying the building to the demographic market visiting this commercial center.
